Everything to know before you come
La Maison du 18 sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms. The house is always rented in its entirety; we simply open the number of bedrooms matching your group's size. Please note: for two guests, if you'd like two separate bedrooms, book for 3 guests; for three or four guests, if you'd like three separate bedrooms, book for 5 guests.
Absolutely! Many points of interest are reachable on foot, on horseback or by bike from La Maison du 18. The château and the Great Stables are about a ten-minute walk away, the shops on rue du Connétable three minutes, and Chantilly-Gouvieux station about fifteen minutes (Paris Gare du Nord in just 23 minutes). For everyone's comfort, pets are not normally allowed in the house, which is also entirely non-smoking. However, if you really cannot be without your companion, it may be accepted in the tiled rooms (kitchen and dining room only) for a €20 supplement. Access to the other rooms of the house, treated against allergies, is strictly forbidden. Any breach will incur a €100 cleaning supplement.
Absolutely! We provide a folding cot (€10 supplement), a second if needed, a high chair and board games. As the house is fully private, you enjoy your stay in complete peace. However, due to the age of the house, it is unfortunately not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Arrivals are in the afternoon, from 4 pm, and departures in the morning, before 11 am. We agree on the exact times together depending on your journey. The minimum stay is two nights. A late check-out, until 6 pm, can be offered on request, provided the house is not re-let the same day (€50 supplement).
La Maison du 18 is right in the heart of Chantilly. It is generally possible to park free of charge on the street or in nearby streets. Two paid public car parks are also available about a five-minute walk away.
